James W. Donaghy

James W. Donaghy has over thirty years experience in private equity investing. He joined Holding Capital Group in 1978. Prior to that he served on the audit and tax staffs of Arthur Andersen & Co. and subsequently as a controller in a privately held company. Between 1968 and 1972 he served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Donaghy serves as the President and is on the Board of Holding Capital Groups' principal investment entities. He also serves (or has served) on the Boards of portfolio companies in precision injection molding, building materials, men's apparel, wire and cable, concrete products, and metal and rubber manufacturing industries amongst others. Mr. Donaghy holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Pace University.

Steven Leischner

Steven Leischner has been a principal of Holding Capital Group (HCG) since 1983. He is currently the CFO of various HCG related entities and oversees HCG's finance, accounting, administration and recruiting. He is an officer and board member of several of HCG's related service, investment, and portfolio companies and is active in managing HCG's private equity and money management businesses. From 1980 through 1983, he was a senior accountant at a national accounting firm specializing in loss and value accounting. Mr. Leischner received his BS (cum laude) in Accounting and Business Administration from Wagner College and achieved his CPA certification in 1982.

Stephen K. Lew

Stephen K. Lew joined Holding Capital Group in 2007 and has served in a variety of different roles within the organization. Prior to becoming involved in private equity investing, Mr. Lew was responsible for the identification and evaluation of potential managers for HCG’s money management platform and still remains involved with overseeing these investments. Currently, Mr. Lew is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and participating in all required due diligence for potential private equity transactions and serves as an officer and board member of one of HCG's current portfolio companies. He holds a BS in Finance and International Business from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Karl D. Dillon

Karl Dillon has over 20 years of private equity experience. He joined Holding Capital Group in 1995. Prior to that he was with the private equity firms Gilliam, Joseph & Littlejohn in New York, HAL Investments in Seattle and Antfactory in London. He also serves (or has served) on the Board and has taken interim management roles at several portfolio companies in a variety of manufacturing, technology related, chemical and business services industries. Mr. Dillon has a BA from Whitman College and a MBA from The Wharton School.

Thomas M. Galvin

Thomas M. Galvin has over twenty years of experience in company management and private equity investing. He joined Holding Capital Group in 1984. Prior to his participation with HCG, Mr. Galvin worked as an accountant in both the public and private arenas. Since 1989 he has been the President and Chairman of HCG Energy Corporation, a portfolio company with present and former subsidiaries in the oil and gas, fire protection, metal spinning, in-store marketing and communication industries. Mr. Galvin holds a BS in business administration from the University of Nebraska and achieved his certification as a CPA in 1979.

Subi Katragadda

Subi Katragadda has been a member of Holding Capital Group since 1997. He has been part of the management teams at a couple of HCG portfolio companies including the successful growth and sale of SV Microwave in the electronics connector and cable industry. His focus and expertise are in the areas of technology and manufacturing. Subi has a Masters in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Texas A&M University.

William R. Colaianni

William R. Colaianni has over 25 years in private equity investing and management experience. Mr. Colaianni joined Holding Capital Group in 1994. Prior to joining HCG, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of Adidas USA, and President of their subsidiary Pony Sports and Leisure, Inc. Prior to his eight years with Adidas, Mr. Colaianni was with Bankers Trust Company for thirteen years – his last position as head of the Asset Based Lending Group in New York. On graduation from the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he joined the United States military and served as an officer in the Army. Upon returning from overseas, Mr. Colaianni was recruited by Bankers Trust Company into their training program.


Andrew E. Schultz

Andrew E. Schultz joined Holding Capital Group in 1999. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel to Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT, where, in addition to his legal responsibilities, he was project executive for a $100 million expansion and new construction program. Mr. Schultz also practiced health care and administrative law, and created and ran a medical services company. He serves (or has served) on the Boards of portfolio companies in the apparel, construction services, and distribution sectors, as well as various not-for-profit entities. He completed his undergraduate and graduate work at Clark University, and received his law degree from Fordham University.
