We differentiate ourselves through our disciplined and time-tested processof investing in undervalued emerging markets and through our passion fordiscovering exceptionally talented money managers, regardless of theircurrent fund asset level or investment background. We have created a fundwhich is not handcuffed by the bureaucracy of typical institutionalthinking. Rather, CSILP takes a flexible approach without typicalinstitutional investment restrictions as to assets under management, emerging markets exposure, and length of time in business. In many cases wehave invested with unknown money managers from Day 1 - many of which are nowrunning successful multi-billion dollar hedge funds. This mandate hasconsistently kept CSILP ahead of the curve. The fund entered Russia in 1998and the Hong Kong markets in 1994, and to this day maintains sizableinvestments with top talent in both regions.
