Founded in 1975, Holding Capital Group is a private equity investment firm. The group has offices across the United States as well as international affiliates in selected markets around the world.

    Our private equity approach is to seek talent – management with exceptional abilities that demonstrably set them apart from their competition. We believe that a company with superior talent can thrive in any industry. Thus, we don’t exclude investing in an entire industry simply because it may be in a cyclical downturn.
  • Horizon
    Our horizon for holding investment positions is purposely long compared to others and we believe that flexibility is key. We hold investments as long as holding is productive for the company and its management. But, when mutually desired, we may create a liquidity event either through a sale or recapitalization transactions.
  • Structures
    Our structures are also unique. Since our approach is to back strong management talent, we often take a minority position in the transaction with a structure that incentivizes management to achieve exceptional results. Since our investment horizons are long, we often work with management to structure succession planning events, at times transitioning the next generation of family members into senior management.
